No immune system to fight germs

White blood cells (also called leukocytes or leucocytes and abbreviated as WBCs) are the cells of the immune system that are involved in protecting the body against both infectious disease and foreign invaders.

As some of you know, my white blood was very low when I came here on vacation. This morning I got my blood drawn here at Grand Strand medical center and the results sent back to OSU.
So last September my WBC was 8.22, last Friday it was 1.22 and this morning it is now 0.5.
My transplant team called me and told me that i have to leave here tomorrow as i am in critical condition.  Any germ from anyone is potentially fatal. So I am a bag of nerves. I left a message with the doctor at osu that is head of this issue. My worry is getting on a plane full of people with germs. I will be wearing a mask but it's not a 100% barrier. I wish I could find a way down here to get a shot or iv then boost my immune system until I go home.

So for now its mask, sanitizer and staying away from anyone.

Pray for me, this is freaking crazy.

Swam in the ocean.

For the first time in 7years I was able to swim in the ocean thanks to my donor.

7 years was a long time to wait and seems like an eternity.

What I done it and it blows my mind.
