So fellow LVADer, don't fret about not making a difference in life, because you are.
Today I was going through my Twitter account and came across someone that had mentioned my name. So it was a medical company in Houston Texas and the headline was, "Today's Inspiration". A photo of me at the finish line of Dash for Donation and the statement that Lifeline of Ohio wrote. What an honor, but we can all do the things that we didn't think we could do. We can also change lives and make people change their minds who aren't currently donors.

Waiting for a heart

It has been 726 days since i first got listed for a heart. How long does a person have to wait? #lifelineofohio

Heat

So the summer has hit us here in Ohio like a ton of bricks. It's absolutely gorgeous but very intense heat. Seeing as I am an end stage heart failure patient, it's a little tough with breathing and keeping hydrated. As long as I make sure I do what I am supposed to do I should be ok. Even if you don't have a bad heart, always keep hydrated.
Last but not least, keep that sun protection handy as it will burn you and for some people cause skin cancer. Be safe but enjoy.

Just finish a total update on the website. It's very frustrating when my laptop shuts down half way through updates but when you have no other options, The Lord looks down and tells me to be patient.
